Moose safari – meet the king of the forest
The moose, the king of the forest, has walked through the Norwegian forests for years and years. Trysil has one of the largest moose populations in Norway, and this big, wild animal has a great impact on our culture and the way we live our lives in Trysil.
On zero-trafficed gravel roads, we drive slowly while looking for the king of the forest and enjoying the tranquility of the nature. Choose between an early scouting trip with 100% moose guarantee or a true forest experience with a gathering around the fire. Depending on weather conditions we take a walk in the forest trying to find moose traces, or we simply sit down and listen to the sounds surrounding us.
Waterproof boots or footware, wind- and waterproof jacket. Feel free to bring binoculars, camera and a water bottle.
Your guide has long experience tracking moose and is familiar with the Trysil forest. Guiding in Norwegian, English, German and Dutch.
