Guided peak hike to the spectacular Skagsvola
Going to the peak Skagsvola in Trysil is a spectacular experience. From the lake Engersjøen, the Skagsvola rises 460 meters to a mountain ridge that gives associations to Besseggen.
But this ridge is wider and easier to walk. Our hike begins at Brunsdalsse- tra. DNT (The Norwegian Trekking Association) has organized the path with footbridges and stone steps. The thrill rises as we approach the ridge and we discover how steep it is to the east. If you wish, you can choose a route
on the inside of the edge. On the top we enjoy the view and take a longer break where the guide serves whitefish burgers and blueberry juice.
Sturdy shoes or boots. Small backpack with a wind- and waterproof jacket and extra clothing according to the weather. Be prepared to help the guide carry some firewood to the lunch fire.
Your guide this summer will be a local who knows the area well, tells stories and serve you our local delights. You will be well taken care of!
