Peak hike Brenthammern 947 masl
Day trip that starts 10AM Tuesday 11 July, 18 July, 25 July, 8 August. Evening tour starting at 6PM Tuesday 27 June. other days on request.
Join us for a hike to the top of our local mountain Brenthammeren at Elgå. We start from Elgå and walk through different landscape types; Pine forest, birch forest and mountain areas.
Along the way, we become aware of the silence, and we can both look and smell the nature. We have time enough and can have rest when we like and get information about the area and the history of Elgå. At the top we enjoy the beautiful view of Femunden and the surrounding areas. If it’s windy and cold at the top, we can shelter and eat in a wooden lavvo.
Good and waterproof footwear and wind- and waterproof clothing, jacket and long pants. Small backpack with food, drink and dry clothes.
Guide is Ola Engerbakk, outdoor man from Elgå who knows the area well. Ola is a teacher and has started the company Femund Friluft with his live-in Katrine Røsten.
